Honestly - if your net worth is under $50,000 - buying a car that costs more than $8,000 is a waste. In fact you are stiffiling your financial future. AND you are getting into habits that WILL affect you the rest of your life.
WHY... I repeat... WHY do you need a nice car? Impress a girl? Look successful? Feel good? Those are all emotional reason.
Wouldn't you feel better being DEBT FREE and having MONEY IN THE BANK to do whatever the flip you want?
Or do you want a nice car, no money to really do anything with, working a large portion of your job just to DRIVE?
I'd choose number 1.
Buying a car on loan is even worse because its usually higher priced than its worth, AND your paying interest on it... now unless your achieving a return in the stock market of double the interest your paying on your car with money invested that is worth more than your car, then thats ok - but I highly doubt that's you.
What I'm calling for is a remnant of young adults to step up, live a life better than thier parents, do something different and not become sucked into this Consumerism Material HELL that we call the world today. You are making someone else rich. Why not make yourself rich?
Will you join me?
This is for real so just read it. J It’s for your benefit and mine (yeah, im selfish but aren’t we all).
Just wanted to throw it out there, I have this GoDaddy RESELLER affiliate site where I can get commissions and stuff from monthly sales on any of the products that GoDaddy sells. And I was thinking, if you know of anyone buying a domain name, or hosting, and you refer them to my site which is http://dtdsolutions.com/ I can give you a 50% of every commission that comes in from that person each month. So yeah – kind of a JV thing. Since I already have it set up, you wouldn’t have to invest the money that I spent to get it set up, just refer people, then send me an email and I’ll track their spending and commissions that come in each month from that person and you can get the 50% sales commission.
Just think about it, don’t know if it’ll work out for you, if you already got something like that goin on great. If you want information about setting up your OWN go daddy affiliate site, let me know – Cuz I can sell them at cost (and go daddy gives me a commission, of which I can give part of that commission back to you, ending up costing you less than if you bought it from GoDaddy.com). So yeah!

Kelly: our love was never real... I mean... we were just kids....too young to know what love was...
Jeremy:
but it felt so real... like the rushing of the wind.. like the waves crashing... like the sun beating down on my face in the summer... your hand in mine.... forever we would be... and now but dust
the thought of your kiss - your lips against mine - your touch - sent me for a tizzy every time, but now, i will never know how that feels, for you and I and us and we are nothing but a fading memory...
Kelly: our love was real, for once in my life. but again we are here...at a loss. It was a wonderful time...
Jeremy: we sit here now and listen to jack johnson pretending it meant nothing, but still it does and it will, but also to keep this wound from bleeding out, i must wrap it up and hold it in and let it clot and scab off and throw it away... or something, but then it would just disappear and i would realize you meant nothing to me

Today was awesome. We set up our office into a film studio and did a shoot today! It was soooo cool! J Totally a fun day at work – took like 4 hours last night and 4 hours today to do it.
Then I went in a hot tub at Kiyoko’s house. It was pretty amazing!! :D Totally warm. Now I’m ready for bed!!
So I was just sitting here at my apartment.
Thinking about 2007 and how awesome God is and what he has planned for me in 2008.
I just bought TaxCut and Microsoft Money (it was a deal where i got Money for free when i bought taxcut from Staples). I'm actually excited about both. Doing your taxes can actually be kinda fun, even when u have to pay them. I like entering all the info and going through my finances.
Money is cool though cuz it shows you different reports about how your spending your money, and if u keep on your current habits where you'll end up. It's awesome. It'll help me on my saving endevours. I'm really cutting the fat bigtime in the past month, mostly food expenses. I was WASTING way too much on food and dining out and starbucks and crap. it kind of makes me sick. this month im able to totally cut the crap and save a fairly large amount! YAY!
Little savings tidbit that I got from a really wise multi-millionaire
who i look up to greatly - Hans Johnson (check out his companys here - http://danijohnson.com and http://risetosuccess.com). You know how you say "I saved $10 on that pair of shoes" or you were buying groceries and everything was on sale... well you didnt actually save it... you ended up keeping it to spend in other places. So what you should do is, lets say you saved $30 off your groceries for the month... instead of keeping it in yuor checking to spend, put it in your savings account alongside the money you normally save (you save money right?) It's a cool little technique to really get more out of your money.
I just went shopping at the Safeway today - bought 2 lbs. of steak at $2.99/lb. and a pound of salmon as well. I also bought brocolli, potatoes, celery, almonds, and 3 dozen eggs... all that should last me quite a while. but if you think about it, it's really saving alot of money (and you get good food out of it too!) It's cool. cuz the Safeway club card tells you how much you saved by using your club card, so i went and put the money i "saved" into my savings account. :D
